Escape 41 is an funky and modern restaurant and bar located up on Kaohsiung’s Caishan Mountain. The views over the sea are some of the best to be had in Kaohsiung.
Escape 41 serves delicious Italian food and the usual range of bar drinks including many foreign brands. The owner is Australian entrepreneur Kieren Haskell who heads the kitchen and front of house. This is a large and busy restaurant so be prepared to wait for a table during busy periods if you haven’t booked in advance.
The restaurant is a bit tricky to find and a scooter or car is needed, however, it’s definitely worth it.
