Smokey Joe's Restaurant
There are three branches of Smokey Joe Restaurants in Kaohsiung. They are decorated in a Spanish/American style. The building is quite large and pink so, you can easily spot it. They serve Tex-Mex food such as Nachos (NT$150) or Smoked Barbecued Pork with Coleslaw and Fries for NT$180. You can also order a rib platter for between NT$320-450.
Saturday evening’s can get busy, so it is a good idea to go earlier in the evening. Sometimes, they will have some entertainment such as someone singing or playing the guitar. There is a good selection of beers and a large selection of cocktails. This restaurant is especially good to go with a group of friends.
